Introducing The Scottsdale Polo Party’s 2019 Teams & Players

The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships is heading into its ninth year with a line-up sure to entertain and engage. November 2nd will feature four matches and a return appearance by world famous polo player and Ralph Lauren model Nacho Figueras, thanks to the Aspen Valley Polo Club. SATURDAY MATCHES

US Marines vs. US Air Force

Kicking off the day will be our first ever USPA-sanctioned General George S. Patton Jr. Tournament featuring two military teams; Marines vs Air Force. Teams will be comprised of current and retired military service men and women.

Arizona Polo Club vs. Centtrip Wales Polo Club

The second match on Saturday will feature returning crowd favorite Ricky Cooper along with Pete Webb and Roddy Matthews fighting for the Molina Cup against Arizona Polo Club. Despite each teams’ long time participation in the event, they’ve never gone head to head!

Defending Champs Aspen Valley Polo Club vs. Royal County Berkshire Polo Club

Returning to the event again this year are the 4 time defending champs from Aspen Valley owned by Marc and Melissa Ganzi. They will be returning with the world’s most famous professional polo player Nacho Figueras. They will face new Royal County Berkshire Polo Club, making its first appearance in the event, traveling in from England.

Charity Match

Southwest Wildlife vs. Arizona Equine Rescue

To close out Saturday, the event will have another first time match featuring two charities competing for a winning purse provided by EPR Polo Club. The $10,000 prize will go directly towards benefiting the winning charity, both focusing on local animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts. Keep your fingers crossed. There is a chance Arizona Coyotes hockey legend may play.
