Music and Matches at The Scottsdale Polo Party November 2nd

The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships returns for its 9th year on November 2nd for a weekend like never before. This years’ cultural performances allow guests to see and hear demonstrations from fan favorites to exclusive firsts.

All guests will have access to the Acoustic Guitar Showcase in the Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge. Some of Arizona’s top acoustic guitarists such as Lee Perreira will be entertaining our Polo Party guests all day long.

Local hip hop artist Ali Tomineek and Phoenix Opera have partnered up to create a unique “Hip-Hopera” experience. This collaboration was put together specifically for guests of The Polo Party and will be the first public performance of the creative duo.

The state’s #1 oboe player will join the event this year courtesy of the Phoenix Symphony. Guests will enjoy several works during a period of play for a beautiful combination of polo and music.

More interested in interpretive performances and dance? Don’t miss the Fred Astaire dancers at the Southeast end of the field. These dance floor pros will be doing field-side tango and lessons all day long.

Enjoy a special preview performed during one of the polo matches from the upcoming Americano!, the country’s most interesting and intriguing new musical debuting January 31st as a part of The Phoenix Theatre Company’s 100th Anniversary.

Beyond the cultural performances, guests can enjoy four DJs on site in tents such as Riot House, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, and Wasted Grain.
