You don’t have to be in Louisville tomorrow to enjoy the Kentucky Derby. We put on the best party celebrating it, at the Valley’s only live horse racing track, Turf Paradise. The Bulleit Bourbon Derby DayClub: Presented by Sanderson Lincoln is the only Kentucky Derby event in Arizona with DJs, dancing, live horse racing, gambling and the fun atmosphere that is a part of every Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships.

TIMES

The DayClub located at Turf Paradise in North Phoenix opens May 1st at 10:45 a.m. The first live horse race at Turf Paradise will take place at 11:30 a.m. Betting materials and a schedule will be in the tent to help guide you. Betting terminals and live tellers are conveniently located inside Turf Paradise for you to place your bets. Wagering is cash only and ATMs can be found on-site.

LOCATION

Turf Paradise is located at 1501 West Bell Road in Phoenix. The Derby DayClub is located along the backstretch on the west side of Turf Paradise’s large, main building and designated by a very large, white Scottsdale Polo Party-style tent. Complimentary parking is available in lots at Turf Paradise. Please follow the signs labeled with the Derby DayClub logo to Gate 1 to park closest to the event entrance.

PARKING: For best parking onsite, please go to Gate 1 and park in the lot adjacent to the event entrance. Parking is complimentary. See map link below for exact location and where to enter from the main road.

RESERVED TABLES

If you have purchased or are a guest at a reserved table in either the

Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge or Ketel One Botanical Pavilion, please check in with our reserved seating concierges. The concierge will be located at a high boy table at the entrance of the tent. They will provide you with designated reserved table wristbands and direct you to your table which will be assigned with your name in the center. For any other questions throughout the day, please consult the concierge who can further help you.

SHOPPING

A variety of vendors will be inside and just outside the tent, including Rolling Rack, Jane Heart Jewelry, Trampalina Fashion and some beautiful cars provided by Sanderson Lincoln.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

A full-service bar is located in The Sanderson Black Label Lounge and The Ketel One Botanical Pavilion, including champagne and the traditional derby cocktail – Mint Juleps. Food vendors, including the Taco Festival food truck, will be onsite to offer additional refreshments.

The Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Woody Trailer is located in our patio area and is offering limited complimentary signature drink tickets to Derby DayClub attendees.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS

This is a fashionable event, so dress in whatever makes you feel best. Our suggested attire for the Derby DayClub is Outdoor Elegant.

For women, we suggest dresses, skirts, dress pants and blouse or jeans and a cardigan with comfortable shoes such as flats, wedges, boots or block heels for easy walking. Please avoid stiletto-style shoes as they will sink in the grass.

Hats are strongly encouraged. Make a statement!

For men, we suggest button-downs, blazer and some fun, colorful shorts or pants.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

Masks are strongly encouraged for all attendees throughout the event except when seated at your table or actively eating/drinking. Masks will be required at all times inside of the Turf Paradise facility including visits to the restroom, placing bets within Turf Paradise either at betting terminals or live tellers. If you prefer to wear a face shield that is ok too.

Stay 6 feet apart. Wash and sanitize your hands. If you forget your mask, there will be limited quantities available on site.
