Dr. Frank Simoncini Returns To The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships As The Event’s Official “Ball Drop” Sponsor

The 12th Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships is proud to welcome back Arizona’s leading Urologic Robotic Surgeon, Dr. Frank Simoncini of Southeast Valley as the event’s official ball drop sponsor.

2023 will be Dr. Simoncini’s 5th year as an event sponsor. In the role, Dr. Simoncini escorts and rides alongside the Valley newsmakers and dignitaries who drop the prestigious polo ball for each of the matches.

Some of those ball droppers for 2023 include ASU Basketball Player Frankie Collins, Colton Carlson – a St. Jude patient and Phoenix local and blind soccer player Alvaro Mora.

Achieving a level of excellence and dedication for performing the UroLift procedure and providing a high level of care for BPH patients, in 2020 Dr. Simoncini was awarded Center of Excellence in the country for the UroLift Procedure. UroLift is a minimally invasive procedure for men with BPH (enlarged prostate).

A cancer survivor himself, Dr. Simoncini has been helping make the lives of his patients suffering from prostate issues and urologic cancer easier through innovative medical methods since 1996.  He understands that there is no one perfect treatment method.

A graduate of Loyola Marymount University and the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Dr. Simoncini has been practicing medicine in the Valley since 1996. He currently practices medicine with Southeast Valley Urology a division of Ironwood Physicians, PC.

In recent years, Dr. Simoncini, whose moniker is “The Flow Fixer,” has been applauded for implementing several minimally-invasive treatments for both enlarged prostate and prostate cancer and he has now surpassed his 500th UroLift procedure.
